Replay Media Splitter 2.2

Replay Media Splitter can help extract or remove parts of media files. It supports several popular audio and video formats. As an extra feature, the program allows combining various media files, provided they have the same format.
The program has a nice modern interface, which main elements are the preview screen and the timeline. All the elements, such as buttons, show proper visual clues and display help tips when you move the mouse over them.
In order to operate the program, you should begin by loading the desired media file. After doing this, you are ready to preview the contents. With the help of the playback controls, you can locate the points where you want to split the file. This program features different ways to mark these points exactly. First, you can use the Move Forward and the Back buttons. Second, the program identifies key frames automatically; moving between key frames will help you locate the beginning and the ending of a segment efficiently. Then, you should decide whether you want to exclude or keep the selected segment. Finally, you can proceed to extract the segments.
The main advantage of Replay Media Splitter is that it extracts media segments without re-encoding; that is why it can convert very quickly and without any quality loss. However, it cannot convert the segment to a format different from that of the original file.
In general, Replay Media Splitter is a fine application. Unfortunately, sometimes when I was using this application, it appeared not to respond. The same thing happened when I started the application: it took a while to appear on the screen and it did not even show a splash window.
